Then there’s this:
Despite what's out there, I still believe Garcia winds up in the bullpen. Makes the most sense.—

And this:
Why do I think Nova is in the rotation? He's pitching in the minors today so the Os don't see him. Why? That's who his 1st start is against.—

So I guess what we can assume is someone will be in the Yankees rotation, right?

Goodnight baseball
For the second year in a row the Yankees end the season with a loss, and that is never the goal for New York. I will miss baseball, as always. As baseball season ends, so does summer. No more beer brats and summer ales. No more of John Sterling’s comforting (and sometimes annoying) voice echoing through the house. It is all in on football now until that awful purgatory of weeks between the end of Boise State’s season and when pitchers and catchers report.
It is the end of a wonderful career for Yankees trainer Gene Monahan. More than likely it is also the last time we have seen Jorge Posada in a Yankee uniform. Two great careers and two great Yankees.
I love everything about baseball, but it is time to move on until February. If you enjoy my writing please follow me on twitter @Keleka24 and at the Blue Turf Nation blog. See you in 184 days for another cup of coffee!
